Agree on most
British museum is fantastic. There Egyptian collection is top notch. Where else are you going to see the actual Rosetta Stone?
Tower of London is also one of my favs. Their armory museum has an incredible display of beautifully made muskets and armor, including the armor worn by Henry 8 and many other kings.
As you said, the V&A was a huge surprise for me. A very enjoyable glimpse into how the English lived in olden times.
I'd also add Westminster Abbey as a must see. Take a tour (or just follow one) to get all of the historical details. [Post edited by NVHoo at 04/19/2017 09:49AM]
