Agreed...there is also a huge gap between a position player vs. "athlete"
and London focused on bringing in a bunch of highly touted athletes who didn't develop well at specific positions where they were placed. It might help your recruiting ratings, but at the end of the day those players are labeled as an "athlete" for a reason. They have phenomenal talent athletically, but don't fit well into how they were utilized in high school and/or were rotated around to so many positions that they didn't find their true calling.
Those players require good coaching to truly bring out the talent they can bring to the table. If you just insert them into a position and expect great things, they will more often than not fall flat on their face.
