All he does is score touchdowns... Frankie does that and more

I've read several comments about Frankie Badocchi's possible over-reliance on the dunk and therefore possibly lacking other key components of the game. I see a kid with a lot of natural tools and a gem in the making. And I don't think it will take long for him to blossom.

I see an explosive athlete who can elevate very quickly. He gets off the ground fast. He's also fast up and down the court. And for a youngster, he has very good footwork, enabling him to get to the hoop for easy baskets and more, getting there with power and speed. Likewise I saw him handle some tough passes with ease. I think we can all agree we need good hands in tight spaces.

While I only saw him take one or two outside shots, he looked like an athlete taking them. I saw him handle the ball a bit, too, making a couple nice passes.

In the one interview, he was articulate, thoughtful, and passionate. Great attitude.

Akil is a good comparison, but Frankie appears to be better athlete, giving him both a higher floor and a higher ceiling, too. In my book he's a welcome touchdown maker.

Yes, this. He goes hard, but with ease. He rises fast. -- JakeBluesLovesHoos 04/19/2017 7:44PM
