How To Watch NBA Playoffs Online - Live Streaming w/o Cable (link)

I thought about it, but it's just not worth it, especially there are free (legal) ways to watch.

I'm not touching TNT. The CBS/Turner Broadcasting March Madness Live empire is why my live streaming privileges at YouTube were revoked, after they issued a takedown request only about 45 minutes into our UNC-Wilmington game that was on TruTV

That's also why I wouldn't touch our game at Villanova that was carried on CBSSN. I got shut down and banned from by CBSSN, driving me off to Poland.

That whole CBS/TBS alliance is very aggressive when it comes to limiting access to content, then searching for and destroying any illegal distributions robotically They and others have been injecting digital DNA into their content for years now, and then employ (Vobile) bots to monitor streaming sites to detect their content, nuking the unauthorized streams. Never mind that the technique has produced numerous civilian casualties. I guess some in the industry consider that "proportionate".

By comparison, ESPN doesn't really give a rats ass. They're more into creating addicts than limiting/monitoring access. Someone in the mix, however, has recently started making things difficult with respect to the HLS URLs for ACC Network Extra streams. So those are now back on YouTube, at least for the foreseeable future. ESPN's new WatchESPN webdesign has thrown a a wrench into things, too, and may prove to be the last straw.

On the other hand, HLS URLs for ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNews, and the other ESPN-based 24/7 linear TV channels are a piece of cake to establish and maintain for days if not weeks at a time.
