..I understand that a billionaire like Phil Knight can drop millions of dollars at a pin-drop to help Oregon launch new facilities, but.as I read the posts below about future football support facilities at UVa., a (hypothetical) question came to mind.

What if a donor approached the President, BOV, the VAF, and the athletic dept. and said he/she would pay 100% of the cost for such facilities, would the UVa. admin. accept an individual donor to pay the entire (100%) cost or are there "earmarked" funding sources elsewhere (internal to the athletic dept.) that wouldn't require a donor to commit full (100%) funding to such projects?
