That interview was pretty rough. What amazes me is when someone like Delpo

can be thoughtful and funny, in a second language, when answering questions in the after match inter view.

Obviously, it's one of the reasons he's so likeable.

Rinaldi has been unusually bland with some of his questions lately. IMO, that interview with Stephens was painful to watch. Like you said, she's usually engaging.

While others may disagree, I prefer when Gilbert interviews the players after the match. At least he will ask some unusual questions, not the standard "You just accomplished ___, how does it feel?" and the player generically responds.
Typically, his puts the player at ease right away, so they loosen up.
