Not the morning of wrestling we were looking for against Kent St.

By my count, we lost the takedown battle by about 10.

125 - Hayes takes forfeit

133 - Kiyono - Looked game against a Nat Qualifier. He can really scramble. Earned a takedown, but ultimately LBD.

143 - Martino - One of those E1 - E1 snoozers. We get ridden out in our OT (looked like KSU got away with one on staying below the waist to ride) and then they got the E1 in their OT.

149 - Krivus - This was a tough one. Dominates the first, up 4-1 and bonus points look possible. Gives up E1 to start the second (no big deal) but then KSU shoots near the end of the second, we start to scramble but give up the T2 thanks to the new scramble rule. That ties it up at 4-4. In the third, we get the E1, but give up a reshot T2 and lose 6-5.

157 - Keating - A mismatch against a top 20 kid. Some roll-thru tilts lead to tech fall in 2nd.

165 - Atkinson - AA pulls one out in the third. Gave up first two takedowns but got escapes to be down 4-3 going into third. Believe they took neutral to start the third. Andrew gets T2 and rides out for the win.

174 - Schany looked real good. T2 in first and third. Gave up reversal after first takedown, but got E1 after that.

184 - McClure - A 4pt move for KSU (T2 N2) breaks it open in the second.

197 - Aiello - KSU up 2-0 after first. Aiello takes down, hits a roll right to the back. Fall.

HVY (dual on the line) - Love was moving well. Had what I thought was T2 on the edge, but ref says toes were out and came back in. That was closest thing to a takedown in regulation. (could hear Garland ask if we had challenges available at the event... we didn't) We go to OT - Tyler stays aggressive, but KSU gets the T2.
