We can agree to disagree with Jozy. With MLS it's simple in my eyes.

90% of your roster has to be Americans or Canadians. You have to field more North Americans which will lead to younger guys getting a chance and the smart clubs will invest heavily in their youth teams. The best way to bring players in for others who have a dip in form or injured is to plug a young player in who has played your style his entire life.

Not only would that help build the US teams but would hurt other national teams who are sending their players to America. Look at Liga MX...a couple of years ago 32% of the league were non Mexican players and there was a major uproar. MLS has 43% of their players from outside the US and Canada.
