Day 2 Update

Haha, not going to lie I was a little disappointed he did not break 20, but I feel at fault for mentioning it and thus jinxing him : )

Still fastest incoming 50 recruit we have ever had and he has one more shot if he leads off that relay. (I'm picky, but I dont really count the converted lcm or scm times, just what has actually been done in a yards pool)

Today he only swam the 200 Free and went slower than his PR at a 1:38.1 (up from a 1:37.3), but he gets to swim again tonight. I thought it was odd he did not swim the 100 back again as his 48.3 from last night would easily final. Maybe he was holding back too much this morning...he did split 48/49 which is also odd for someone who goes 20.0 in the 50.

Perera dropped about half a second in the 400 IM to go 3:51.3, and make it into the final heat tonight.

We do have the 200FR tonight, so maybe we will see Grender lead off, or see what he can split with a flying start.

Exciting stuff, for sure
