Day 3 Jr Nats Update

To finish up the meet, Grender had a nice 200 Free Friday night with a 1:36.5 which was a nice drop.

Then he went a 20.21 leading off the 4x50 FR, so his best/next/last chance to break 20 before stepping on grounds might be his HS state meet (Ohio tends to take that meet seriously, like a couple other states on the east coast)

On Saturday I was a little shocked to see he did not swim the 100, but he had a very nice 200 back with a 1:44.93 (a PR by almost 2 seconds) and finished 4th. He then went 2nd in the 4x100 FR and split a 43.71 but their relay was DQ'd...results did not say why or show take off splits, but thats still pretty good even IF he jumped by a bit.

I will be following the state meets when they roll around and post what he does. Also, these were all PRs by a good amount and he was already ranked pretty high in the class... I would say this puts him in the top 40 of this years class so far.
