I saw him play in Salem when I was 8 or 9. He was a physical specimen. Man

he could drive a baseball. Pitchers had to be terrified to face him. In the old Salem park the front row of seats was maybe 10' from the on-deck circle. Saw Parker strike out once. As he walked back to the dugout, an old fan yelled "You can't hit a home run every time." Parker glared at him and said "Kiss my ass." He was one bad-ass MF.
