Is aTm Texas A&M? It is a strange choice for just 1 semester

unless there are some family ties to TAMU. I attended the NCAA's when it was held there in 2009 and they do have a great outdoor tennis stadium. Maybe the coaches guarantee that he would play #1 was the selling point, but he is probably good enough to have played #1 at almost all schools in the country except for WF, UNC and OSU. I don't think UVA was involved with his recruiting, but he may well have played #1 had he chosen us.

At least he did not go to UNC. UNC's new Canadian recruit and maybe a future Canadian pipeline is going to make them really good. With UNC likely among the top 5 schools in the country and WF likely #1, it will be a far tougher ACC for UVA than anything we have faced in a long time. We have a lot of young blue chippers with talent and I really hope that they are good enough along with CS and HW to challenge WF and UNC for the ACC title. If so it could be the most exciting tennis season in terms of close matches in a very long time.
