Radiohead always admitted Creep was influenced by The Air I Breathe.

In fact, they never fought giving 40% their royalties for the song to the original writers. That's why Del Rey's lawyer were so quick to give 40% to Radiohead as well. Ironically, Creep was originally written as a joke. They don't even like the song ... while I think it stands the test of time.

That said, The Air I Breathe and Creep are still different songs intertwined by a similar riff. The songs are radically different. Now check out the link between Del Rey and Radiohead on the post below. It's literally Del Rey's new lyrics over Radiohead's back track.
