  • Wide Receiver
  • Class of 2004
  • Washington, DC (Gonzaga College HS)
  • 6-0, 190 lbs

Notes: As a junior, Dutch made 16 receptions for 337 yards for an average of 21 yards per catch and scored three touchdowns. In addition, he had 19 punt returns for 238 yards and one touchdown, and five kick returns for 267 yards, an average of 53.4 yards per kick return. Before his junior year, Dutch was a three-sport athlete, but he gave up basketball to concentrate on football and track, where he participates in the 100, 200, and 400 events. He holds the school record for the 100 meters, running the event in 10.5 seconds as a sophomore.

Coach Kenny Lucas: "Not only is Doug a world of talent athletically, but he is a great student and a great person as well. He has done a fantastic job here, maintaining a 3.8 GPA while participating in three sports. He plays defensive back, wide receiver, and returns punts and kicks for us, but most schools want him as a wide receiver. He has been a two-way player since he was a sophomore. Doug is very fast, as he is a sub 4.4 40 guy, a 4.3 guy."
