Green, the son of former Virginia fullback Kevin Morgan, started at quarterback and linebacker for the Crimson Wave last season as a junior. He threw for 2,199 yards and 27 touchdowns and rushed for 15 more scores on the year.
As a senior, Green totaled over 2,700 yards of offense including 2,000 yards passing and 750 yards rushing. He had 24 touchdowns (9 passing, 15 rushing), earning first-team all-metro honors by the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Green earned second-team all-Central district honors at Utility and linebacker in 2009.
A 2-sport athlete, Green plays on Petersburg's touted varsity basketball squad as well.
