Kevin Simmons

Notes: As a junior last season, Simmons rushed for 1,364 yards and 19 touchdowns. He has been a big-time playmaker for Kempsville each of the past two seasons.

Head coach Jeff McGowan: “He’s just a playmaker and everybody loves him. The funny thing about him is that you put him on the track and he’s going to run like a 4.6 but, if you put the ball in his hands, I’ve got film where he’s running away from Percy Harvin and we know how fast he is. He’s the type of kid who doesn’t need to compete in a combine. You just have to put his tape on. He just does stuff that you can’t coach.”
