Marques Slocum

Transferring to West Catholic for his senior year.

Marques could play on the offensive line or defensive tackle on the next level. As a junior, he earned first-team Daily News All-City honors on defense. Very strong, he can bench press 185 pounds 24 times.

Coach Brian Fluck: "We're going to play him at the offensive guard position and defensive line, mainly strongside defensive tackle. He's going to be a really good and strong presence for us. He moves very well and gets off the ball quickly. To show how athletic he is, he ran a 5.06 in the 40 at the Nike Camp at Penn State (in 2004)."
