Rashad Jennings

Notes: Jennings is the younger brother of former Virginia Tech tight end Bryan Jennings (1992-1996). He plays weakside linebacker and defensive end for Lynchburg Christian's 3-4 defense. As a junior, he had 89 tackles including nine tackles-for-loss. Jennings plays tailback on offense, and rushed for 1,300 yards on 142 carries, scoring 23 touchdowns as a junior. Last year was his first year at Lynchburg Christian. Earned first-team all-state VISFA Division II honors. Benches 425 pounds, squats 700 pounds and cleans 300 pounds.

Coach Lance: "I can't say enough about Rashad. He moves extremely well for a player his size. Most schools like him on the defensive side of the ball, however no one is ruling him out on offense. He has a terrific work ethic. One week after our season ended, he was in the weight room lifting and watching film to get ready for next season."
