T.J. Pitts

Notes: As a junior last season, the Pitts rushed for 1,800 yards and 21 touchdowns on 184 carries. He earned first-team all-area and all-state honors for his junior year performance.

Coach Bob Christmas: "T.J. has elite type of speed. We have timed him here with a sub 4.4 at least a half a dozen times. His best time was a 4.35 with two stop watches timing him. He always has another gear. A defender will think they have an angle and he just kicks into the next gear. That's probably number one. Another thing is he is a hard-nosed runner. He'll run over you as well as run around you. He fights and scratches for every inch. The best thing I think is that he's a class act. He's a first-class young man."
