Bayonne (N.J.) star wide receiver Kenny Britt , rated a 4-star prospect by Rivals.com, does indeed have an official scholarship offer from Virginia and is in the process of setting up an official visit to Charlottesville according to Bayonne head coach Frank Blunda.

“I spoke with Coach D’Onofrio and apparently the official offer was sent back in June, but it never made it,” Blunda said. “So Virginia did offer. Right now, they are trying to set an official visit with Kenny on the weekend of December 3rd. They are trying to sure up that date.”

The 6-4, 190-pound Britt boasts offers from Boston College, Iowa, Kansas, Louisville, Nebraska, Purdue, Rutgers, Virginia and Wisconsin. At this point, Coach Blunda says Britt is “still considering everyone that is interested. Virginia is really his first commitment for an official visit. Rutgers was in [last Friday] and I’m pretty sure Rutgers will be another official.”
