1. This year’s UVa men’s basketball team has exceeded expectations – after being predicted to finish 12th in the league, the Cavs are poised to finish in the top half of the ACC possibly. Have you started schedule watching/win counting yet in regard to postseason play?

Tunji Soroye and the Cavs still have a shot at making the NCAA Tournament.

Kris: I’ve told myself not to about a million times, but I still have looked at the scenarios. Time and time again, Virginia sports teams have pulled fans into this sort of unintentional trap and broken a lot of hearts. Regardless, I’m watching the schedule with five games left and I think there’s a real shot of winning at least four of them.

Wes: With the season being down to the final 5, I am very interested in seeing how this team comes down the stretch. Seeing how they fell flat in overtime against Florida State, the Seminoles are beatable. Boston College is a wild card on any given night. The Hoos already defeated Clemson. North Carolina might be brutal in Chapel Hill and quite frankly, Maryland is not that good of a team. If Virginia doesn’t become zombies in the second half in College Park, they win that game. I’ve started watching the schedule and wondering how much is left in the tank and pondering the biggest question — Can this team show up for a full game on the road?

Asheville Hoo: Personally, no. I’ve read enough posts of others doing it, but I decided it will be what it will be. Since the following questions cover this topic more in depth I won¹t be redundant here, but in general everything for this season has just been gravy. I have been more focused on player development, team chemistry, and the coaching transition to care about the postseason yet. It has been hard to keep my optimism in check, but for this year I am just enjoying the ride.
