Former Dwight Morrow (Englewood, N.J.) star linebacker Darnell Carter is heading down to Richmond today to spend time with his father, but tomorrow will attend arrive at the University of Virginia for orientation. Carter is both excited and somewhat nervous as he begins his collegiate life.

Carter undergoes a physical on Friday. On Monday, he gets up at 6:00 in the morning to work out with his new teammates for the first time.
