Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA) star QB/DB Xavier Boyce , a good-sized prospect at 6-4, 200 pounds, has had a scholarship offer from Virginia Tech for quite some time. Last weekend, he visited the University of Virginia in hopes of landing a second offer to his list.

“I really liked the campus,” Boyce said of his trip to Virginia last Saturday for a junior day. He was accompanied by his mother and grandmother. “The coaches are good, too. I talked to the whole staff. The main coach I talked to was Coach Price.

“The thing I really liked about Virginia is that everybody on campus is like a family. The coaches made you feel at home. The players were telling me about the campus and that you can also get a good education. I talked to Jamaal Jackson and Keith Payne the most.”
