Recruiting the defensive side of the ball has gone very well for the Virginia Cavaliers in this 2009 recruiting class. Eight promising prospects project to play on defense, including three defensive ends, two linebackers, two safeties and one outside linebacker/safety. The staff has done well in addressing an important need at defensive end, so are there any remaining big defensive needs to fill in this class?
