The Virginia football team is back in action this weekend when Richmond visits Scott Stadium for the first time since 2001. Former UVa defensive coordinator Mike London is in his first season as the head coach of his alma mater’s football team and UR picked up a win in his first game last week. The Sabre’s new “View From The EDGE” series continues this week as GunnyHooway takes a pre-game peek at the Spiders.

The most exciting thing about Richmond this weekend … I know this is not really about Richmond per se, but I am really pumped to see the retro uniforms this week. I hope Saturday kicks off the season along a positive vector.
The thing that worries me the most about playing Richmond is… losing.
