In Part 2, it is guard Billy Baron , guard Joe Harris and power forward/center James Johnson who discuss a variety of topics including the transition from high school to college, their fellow first years, academics and more.
BILLY BARON – Guard, 6-2, 192 pounds, Worcester Academy (East Greenwich, R.I.)
– In three seasons at Bishop Hendricken High School (Warwick, R.I.), Billy Baron averaged 16.5 points per game including 24.1 points per contest as a senior. He helped Hendricken capture three state titles in that span, earning first-team all-state honors twice and state tournament MVP honors his junior and senior seasons. After a stellar high school career at Bishop Hendricken, Baron moved on to Worcester Academy, where he averaged 27.5 points, 6.2 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game in 2009/2010.
– Baron’s father, Jim, is the head men’s basketball coach at the University of Rhode Island. Older brother Jimmy played four years at URI before moving on to play professionally overseas.
– In addition to basketball, Baron is also interested in cooking.
