The University of Virginia men’s basketball program has its second commitment of the 2012 class. Milton (GA) small forward Evan Nolte , ranked a 4-star prospect by ESPN, Rivals.com, and Scout.com, informed Cavaliers head coach Tony Bennett of his decision last night.

“Coach Bennett called me earlier this week and wanted to see where my head was at, where they stood and everything,” said Nolte, who is ranked in the top 60 nationally by ESPN.com (#53) and Rivals.com (#59). Scout has him in at #69 in the country. “I was thinking about it. Me, my dad and my mom sat down and talked about it. We had a more serious talk. I was deciding on what was holding me back from making a decision. I just felt like it wasn’t much to it. Really, deep inside I knew where I wanted to go. I decided now is the right time.
