In what has become a yearly recruiting event, the Elite Prospect Day in June has been successful for the University of Virginia football program. Last year, Coach London scored big with commitments from defensive ends Vince Croce and Marco Jones . This year’s event takes place on Sunday, June 5, and we have a list of those prospects we have confirmed and those who we hear may be in attendance. The list includes in-state and out-of-state prospects, including a handful of targets from the state of New Jersey. It also includes an in-state rising junior seemingly on his way to being a big-time recruit.

Ryan Brodie , OL/DL, Long Branch (N.J.)
Brodie is primarily an offensive line recruit, but I’m also impressed with his play on the defensive line and wouldn’t rule out defensive tackle as a possible future position.
