In what has become a yearly recruiting event, the Elite Prospect Day in June has been successful for the University of Virginia football program. Last year, Coach London scored big with commitments from defensive ends Vince Croce and Marco Jones . This year’s event takes place on Sunday, June 5, and we have a list of those prospects we have confirmed and those who we hear may be in attendance. The list includes in-state and out-of-state prospects, including a handful of targets from the state of New Jersey. Buffalo, Cincinnati, Connecticut, North Carolina, N.C. State, Purdue, Rutgers, South Carolina, Temple, Tulane, Vanderbilt and Virginia have offered the 6’5″, 265-pound rising senior. UVa came through with an offer last month.

Tyrell Chavis , DT/OL, Varina (VA)

Boston College, Vanderbilt and Virginia are the three offers for the 6’4″, 288-pound Chavis, who, according to Blue Devils head coach Stu Brown, could see many more offers if he shows improvement in the classroom. Tyrell is focused on the classroom right now and a decision doesn’t seem likely to come any time soon.
