Turning from the running backs to the wide receivers always is one of the more interesting analysis twists I make each summer. When it comes to the running backs, after all, I often find that I only have so much to write, especially when you are considering how dependent the running backs are on the productivity of the offensive line. But while the receivers are similarly dependent on the productivity of the quarterbacks (as well as the line), I generally find that year to year, there is a lot more of a discrepancy in terms of the level at which the receivers can perform if everything else is in place.
So this year, how good can the receivers be? Pretty darn good.
