Virginia playing for the division title? Why not us?

Think about this: how often do you celebrate a win not once, but twice? And think about this: celebrating the win twice would not have been a bit of fun unless the team got to celebrate it a third time. But celebrate a third time, the Hoos did, and arguably even a fourth time after the kneel-down … but at that point, the Hoos almost were too spent to celebrate again! Fortunately, now that we have had time to rest, we get to go back and break it all down in this week’s 10 Things.

1. Then. Final two and a half minutes or so of the game … let’s make sure I have this right …

… with the clock winding down, FSU is well within field goal range with a change to clinch the win …

… then, on third down, Florida State inexplicably runs a five-step out of the shotgun, allowing Steve Greer to come through with the play of his career on a sack of EJ Manuel that takes FSU out of field goal range …

… then, before fourth down, UVa does not take a timeout, allowing almost 40 seconds to run off the clock …

… then, after an FSU punt, Virginia gets the ball back deep in its own territory, having not scored a touchdown in the game since … oh … about Wednesday …

… then, the UVa offense seems to collectively say, “Screw it,” drives down the field, and scores the go-ahead touchdown …

… then, having scored almost too quickly, the Hoos have to give the ball back to FSU with more than a minute remaining …

… then, Chris Hinkebein kicks a line drive on the kickoff, allowing FSU to start with great field position …

… then, EJ Manuel throws two short passes on the first two plays, allowing the clock to run down significantly …

… then, on third down, Bill Schautz , who is having an incredible game, make a great play in pass coverage
