Demetrious Nicholson and the Hoos played well vs. Richmond.
For the first time in the Mike London era all three operations, offense, defense and special teams finished a game with championship level marks in my postgame grades. Virginia played as they were expected and defeated an undermanned Richmond squad. Receivers, the defensive line and the kickoff coverage unit had near perfect days while the linebackers and offensive line finished only above average. Overall, there was plenty to like Saturday but several opportunities for improvement.
