Following a weekend trip to Charlottesville, class of 2016 combo guard Ty Jerome says the University of Virginia is “at the top of my list.”
The 6’3” prospect, a product of Iona Prep (New Rochelle, N.Y.), was immediately impressed.
“I was in shock when I first got there,” Jerome wrote in a direct message via Twitter to TheSabre.com. “The basketball arena and the facilities are unreal, and so is the campus.”
Jerome was one of three top class of 2016 targets on Grounds this past weekend, joining Huntington Prep (W.V.) combo guard Curtis Jones and Blue Ridge (St. George, VA) power forward/center Mamadi Diakite. All three prospects were spotted in Scott Stadium watching UVa football take on UCLA. The New York native discussed what else was on the itinerary.
