At this point, the University of Virginia men’s basketball program plans to welcome only one true freshman – 6’8”, 245-pound power forward Jarred Reuter – to the team next season. Reuter, who attends Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, N.H.), signed with the Hoos in November of 2014 and will enroll this summer. The prime focus of the UVa coaches has been and continues to be on the class of 2016, in which the Hoos have received three quality commitments so far.

Kyle Guy, Combo Guard, 6’3”, Lawrence Central High School (Indianapolis, IN)

ESPN, Scout, Rivals and 247Sports rank Guy as a 4-star recruit. ESPN ranks the Indianapolis native as the no. 46 player in the nation in the class of 2016. Rivals (No. 59), 247Sports (No. 63) and Scout (No. 86) also rank Guy as a national Top 100 recruit in his class.

Ty Jerome, Point Guard/Combo Guard, 6’4”, Iona Prep (New Rochelle, N.Y.)

Scout is highest on Jerome, ranking him as a 4-star and the no. 96 player in the nation in the class of 2016. ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports have him on the 3-star level. Rivals ranks Jerome as the no. 118 player in the nation in the class of 2016, while 247Sports has him at no. 142 overall in the class.

– Sacha Killeya-Jones, Forward, 6’10”, Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA)

Scout, 247Sports and ESPN have rated Killeya-Jones as a 4-star recruit. Scout (No. 39) and 247Sports (No. 76) rank him among the Top 100 juniors in the nation. Rivals has him as a 3-star and no. 113 overall in the nation in his class.
