L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA) senior shooting guard Kenny Williams will travel to Charlottesville today for the start of an official visit at the University of Virginia, which is a finalist along with UNC for the 6’4” prospect. We are hearing good things as far as UVa’s chances at this point, and we aren’t the only ones…

We aren’t sure when Williams will make his pick, but given that this is his final scheduled visit and he has already narrowed the field to these two schools, an announcement should not be too far off. The standout prospect took an official visit to UNC on April 19 and traveled to UVa for an unofficial visit on April 21.

Williams, who is rated a 4-star recruit by Scout, ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports, played for Boo Williams on the AAU circuit. He averaged 13 points per game in 19 games in 2014, making 43.7-percent of his 3s. Williams averaged 17.9 points per game his senior high school season, leading Bird to a 23-3 record.

If Williams does choose Virginia, the Cavaliers would still have one open scholarship
