Virginia football head coach Bronco Mendenhall has shown he is willing to recruit anywhere as he builds the Cavalier program. Mendenhall has taken it a step further in the class of 2019, accepting three commitments from Europe – quarterback/athlete Luke Wentz and offensive lineman Kariem Al Soufi of Germany and defensive lineman Emil Bo Andersen of Denmark. All three pledged to the Hoos in June, something that may not have happened if not for Cavalier defensive line coach Vic So’oto.
