How Does Armstrong Stack Up?

Another week, another big-time performance from redshirt junior quarterback Brennan Armstrong, who set a school record for passing yards in a single game with 554 in UVA’s first road game of 2021. Armstrong completed 39-of-54 passes and had four touchdowns and one interception last Saturday in Chapel Hill.

Armstrong’s overall Pro Football Focus offense grade against UNC was 84.2, down from the 94.7 overall offense grade he received versus Illinois and the 90.8 mark he received in the season opener against William & Mary. His passing grade was in the 90s for a second straight week. Armstrong earned a PFF passing grade of 90.1 versus UNC after receiving a 94.1 mark the week before against Illinois. He received an 89.2 grade in this category against William & Mary.
