Last weekend’s official visit in Charlottesville sealed McKale Boley’s decision. The 6’6”, 295-pound senior is taking his talents to the University of Virginia, which has been in hot pursuit of the 247Sports.com 3-star offensive tackle prospect in the final days and weeks ahead of the 2022 Class Regular Signing Period, which begins Wednesday, February 2.

Boley, a product of Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg (MS), received a scholarship offer from new UVA head coach Tony Elliott on January 3. He spoken with offensive line coach Garett Tujague many times over the past month, but the official visit offered him an opportunity to meet with the entire staff in person.

“The coaches played a big role in my commitment,” Boley said. “I loved their energy and passion and I think that they have a great plan for the future. I love that they have a goal set in mind and that they are going to do everything to accomplish that.”

All of Virginia’s early signees, as well as some prospects who have committed in the past few days, visited Grounds this past weekend. Boley enjoyed getting to know future teammates including current Cavalier true freshman offensive lineman Logan Taylor.
