The Virginia men’s basketball team earned a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament and is scheduled to face No. 13 seed Ohio on Saturday night. The Hoos departed for Indianapolis on Friday morning after a quarantine period following a positive COVID-19 test result at the ACC Tournament.

Earlier this week, the Double Bonus series took a close look at the matchup with the Bobcats. They’ll pose some challenges with schemes and perimeter shooting, but they could have challenges defending the Cavaliers as well. Read that in-depth analysis with video clips here.

How Does Limited Practice Impact Preparation For Virginia?

The biggest topic for much of the week, Virginia fans fretted over the lost practice time due to quarantine procedures. The Hoos planned to get a practice in Friday before heading to Indianapolis and then, if cleared through the two on-site tests, get another walk-through/practice in Saturday. Breaking that down, it means the Wahoos didn’t have a team practice for a week after defeating Syracuse on Thursday, March 12.
