The Virginia basketball team wrapped up its 2020-2021 campaign with its seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. While the Cavaliers’ stay in the Big Dance didn’t last long, they did finish the season with at least 18 wins for the 10th straight time. With this season now in the archives, it’s time to look back at the annual 10 preseason questions for the Hoos.

10. What does the season look like during a pandemic?

Even as the season inched to the starting line, the schedule already featured moving parts. I mean, remember this?

That’s Maine coach Richard Barron, who once worked basketball camps with Terry Holland, passing some time less than a week before the scheduled season opener with UVA as part of “Bubbleville” at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.
