The postgame analysis for the Virginia football team’s 38-21 drubbing against Louisville will be quick. The Hoos were dominated up front offensively and defensively, they had no answer for the Cardinals’ speed, especially against the passing game, and the offense was dreadful.

With that, let’s have some real fun and take a look at Miami before we get to the grades.

The Hurricanes are coming off back-to-back blowouts of two of the ACC’s top offenses. Two weeks ago, UM’s 28-10 win over then No. 13 Virginia Tech may have been Miami’s most dominant of the season. The Hurricanes outgained Virginia Tech 429-299, besting a team that entered the game ranked No. 2 in the ACC in scoring offense and No. 1 in scoring defense. The Hurricanes recorded four turnovers in the victory.

As a warm-up to the Hoos, the Canes delivered a 41-8 thrashing to one of the nation’s top offenses by holding Notre Dame to season lows in total yards (261) and points (8) while forcing four Irish turnovers.
UM outgained the then No. 3 team in the land 374-261 and outrushed one of the nation’s top rushing offenses by a 237-109 margin.
