Friday night, the Virginia football team fell to the Syracuse Orange in ESPN’s highlight game of the week with a final score of 22-20. The game ended in devastating fashion with the defense failing to stop a final Syracuse march down the field after UVA quarterback Brennan Armstrong earned his team the lead. Now, Hoo fans feel beaten, battered, and desperate for a clean win to get things back on track.

Now sitting at an overall record of 2-2, Virginia comes into an important in-conference week 5 matchup against the Duke Blue Devils. The Devils from Durham come in with a 3-1 record, hosting Virginia following its 35-27 loss to Kansas. With both teams looking to bounce back from a loss, and get in the conference win column, fans are sure to see a heated contest between the two teams.

Here’s everything that you need to know ahead of Saturday night’s game. The Hoos and Blue Devils are scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on ACC Regional Sports Networks.
