When the Virginia football team opens preseason practice next week, one thing seems clear: the defensive line should know what it’s doing.

After all, the players on the D-Line are among the most experienced and most recognizable names on the roster. There are 11 Hoos listed as upperclassmen among the defensive tackles and defensive ends and many of them have logged significant snaps. Even some of the underclassmen picked up valuable experience last season.

Before the Hoos open against Richmond on Saturday, August 31 at Scott Stadium at 6 p.m., let’s continue the The Sabre Summer Reading Series with the players up front on defense.
