Online, one can subscribe to a MasterClass. On Broadway, an understudy can learn from the wings. On Capitol Hill, an internship studies inside of government offices. On the Virginia football field last fall, Suderian Harrison got his own apprenticeship as a receiver.
Harrison, a true freshman last fall, had a front row seat to history in 2023 after all.
Malik Washington rewrote the UVA and ACC history books with 110 receptions (single season school and ACC record) and 1,426 receiving yards (school record) last season. His numbers beyond the records were strong too with 9 touchdowns and at least one reception in the final 37 games of his college career. That led to an opportunity with the Miami Dolphins, who took Washington in the sixth round of the NFL Draft.
