Tyler Neville Brings Back Tight End Touchdowns For Virginia

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. – The tight end position is a fickle one in the history of Virginia football, flexing from the bedrock of the program to an afterthought in recent years.

Over the last two seasons under Tony Elliott, tight ends have combined for one touchdown catch. Transfer tight end Tyler Neville doubled that output in one half in a 31-30 win over Wake Forest, single-handedly signaling the return of the position to the UVA offense.

“This is kind of what we talked about in my recruitment,” Neville said postgame. “I came to Virginia to play a big role in the offense and win a lot of games.”
