CONWAY, S.C. – Here’s the story of a lovely play, it’s the story of a man named Grady.
When the Virginia football team needs a yard, it turns to fourth-string, walk-on quarterback Grady Brosterhous, a walk-on running back nicknamed “Juggernaut” in Jack Griese, 6’4” tight end Tyler Neville, and 309-pound nose tackle Jahmeer Carter. Four men working all together. That’s the way the Cavaliers became the “Grady Bunch”.
“I guess y’all got me calling it the Grady Bunch too,” UVA coach Tony Elliott said smiling, finally giving into the nickname.
