There is a lot to like about the Virginia football team’s 24-14 win against Boston College. There are also some things to dislike about the come-from-behind victory. The grades have a little bit of a back-and-forth pull to them too.
Things to like
- 4Q comeback – The Sequel. For the second time this season the Hoos erased a fourth quarter deficit to claim a win, this time climbing back from 8 points to triumph over the Eagles.
- Currently, Virginia ranks 22nd nationally in fourth quarter scoring at 9.5 points per game. Last season, the Hoos placed 120th averaging 4.3 points per game. The offense does need to work on its first quarter scoring, standing at just 5.0 points per game.
- BC’s loss marked just the third time in program history the Eagles lost a game after leading by 14 or more points.
- The Cavaliers went turnover free in back-to-back games for the first time since 11/09/19 and 11/23/19.
