Patrick DeStefano is truly Mr. Versatility when it comes to blockers on Dorman High School’s (Roebuck, S.C.) varsity football squad. In two seasons as a starter on the varsity, the 6-5, 270-pound junior has lined up at a variety of positions including left and right offensive tackle, left and right offensive guard, tight end and fullback. It’s this versatility that has helped attract major FBS scholarship offers.
“Every school likes me for a different spot,” DeStefano said. “Some say guard. Some say tackle.”
Despite being a productive performer on the varsity each of the past two seasons, DeStefano is modest about his accomplishments. He demonstrates a drive to get better.
“The reason why I started my sophomore year was because the guys in front of me beat my tail every week my freshman year,” said DeStefano, who has played alongside talents such as Clemson rising red-shirt freshman offensive lineman Brandon Thomas.
