Virginia football’s 2-7 record has had no impact on Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA) senior outside linebacker/defensive recruit Jordan Jackson , a Cavalier commit since the spring of 2013. Furthermore, Jackson does not believes Virginia’s struggles this season are impacting his classmates either.

“I don’t think any of the recruits care about wins and losses because of the amount of talent the 2014 class is bringing in,” said Jackson. “Don’t get be wrong… we’re not ecstatic, but we know things are going to turn around.”

The status of Mike London is important to Jackson, who fully expects London to return for a fifth year as Cavalier head coach.

“To me personally, it’s a huge factor,” Jackson said, referring to London’s status. “Other commits I think feel the same way. I feel he is going to be safe either way, whether they win any more games or not.”
