On Thursday, Daily Press sports writer David Teel released an article detailing a new contract extension between the Virginia athletics department and Nike. Read the full article here, but the bottom line says this: $35 million over 10 years, or $3.5 million annually.

Last week’s question focused on the football team as kickoff moves closer and closer for the 2015 season. The Sept. 5 opener is on the road at UCLA. The poll question: Which Road Game Is The Toughest On The Virginia Football Schedule?

The poll closed with 502 votes and there was a run-away winner. UCLA received 314 of the votes, meaning 63% of respondents think the Bruins are the toughest road opponent for the Hoos this season. Louisville, who UVa defeated at home last season, came in second with 152 votes (30%).
