Sabre poster Hoos in da house asked an interesting question on multiple boards last week. The Afternoon Break turned it into a poll. Here are the results from last Friday’s break poll!
Men’s tennis garnered the most votes as the UVa spring sports team with the best chance to win the NCAA Championship this spring; 47% of voters picked Brian Boland’s Hoos. The rowing team (29%) and the men’s lacrosse team (22%) also received more than 20% of the votes. Click on “view results” below to see the full range of votes.
Hoo-Tube Video Of The Day
The Afternoon Break features a daily video and today’s video features the U.S. Women’s National Team Player Profiles of defenders Amy LePeilbet, Becky Sauerbrunn and Ali Krieger. Sauerbrunn played at Virginia from 2003 to 2007 where she appeared in every game and all but 10 minutes of her college career. She was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2007.
